AI-Assisted Coding for Non-Developers
Use AI to write, understand, and modify code — even if you've never programmed before. Build small tools that actually work.
About this workshop
You don't need to be a developer to benefit from code. A simple script can save you hours a week. A small web tool can solve a problem no app on the market addresses. And with AI, writing that code is finally within reach for non-developers.
This advanced workshop is for people who are comfortable with AI tools and want to go a step further: using Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to write, read, and modify actual code. We won't turn you into a software engineer — but you will leave with working tools you built yourself.
We'll cover how to describe what you want in plain English and get usable code back, how to read and understand code well enough to modify it, how to debug when something breaks, and how to build small automations and tools without a programming background. This is practical and demystifying — not a bootcamp.
What you'll learn
- Prompt AI tools effectively to produce working code for real tasks
- Read and understand code well enough to ask the right follow-up questions
- Debug broken code using AI assistance
- Build a small, functional script or tool during the workshop
- Know which types of problems are worth solving with code — and which aren't
Agenda
