About this workshop

This workshop is designed for people who've heard a lot about AI and want to finally understand what it can actually do for them.

We start from scratch — no assumptions about your technical knowledge. By the end of the session, you'll have hands-on experience with ChatGPT and Google Gemini, and you'll know exactly how to use them for your everyday work tasks.

We cover practical use cases that matter to working adults: writing emails, summarizing documents, brainstorming ideas, and doing research faster. We also cover what AI is bad at, what you should and shouldn't share with it, and how to fact-check what it tells you.

What you'll learn

  • Understand what AI tools can and can't do
  • Write faster, better emails with AI assistance
  • Summarize long documents in seconds
  • Brainstorm ideas and plans using AI as a thinking partner
  • Know what's safe to share and what to keep private
